I will be donating $10 for each hat sold to families in my community directly affected by ICE actions, as documented by my local Immigrants Rights Collective, formed to help those caught in the cruelty of being snatched off the street and disappeared.
Hats are adult size - 22" around, approx 10" tall. You can fold up the cable edge to make it more fitted or hang a little.

Color is a dark red, called Claret by Loops & Thread Yarn
More and more people are waking up to the horrors that the ICE raids have brought to cities and communities across the country.
In the 1940’s, Norwegians made and wore red pointed hats with a tassel as a form of visual protest against Nazi occupation of their country. Within two years, the Nazis made these protest hats illegal and punishable by law to wear, make, or distribute.
A small yarn store in Minneapolis brought back the red hat design and offered up a pattern for $5, with all proceeds going to Immigrant aid agencies. To date they have raised over $600,00.
Knitters and crocheters all over the country are now offering up these hats to show solidarity in resisting the current actions of ICE and the current regime.
