Coiled Rope Decor

I use a high quality 100% cotton braided rope.
Much of the rope is hand dyed in small batches - both with single color and multi color dye techniques that work up wonderfully when coiled!
Often I also wrap fabrics around the rope, providing huge color patterning and design.
You may also find bits of yarns and metallic threads to add texture and shine to a basket.
Even the threads I use to sew up the rope is often a fun ombre or metallic yarn. Most are truly one of a kind!
