Can’t wait for the UPS man today!
I mentioned to my mom last week I was shopping for a serger….and OMG – she had one in her basement, barely used….she packed it up and it is due to be delivered today!!
I am so excited! My already long list of things I want to make is getting even longer now!
And I thought maybe I’d get around to cleaning this week after catching up with my backlog of orders….NOPE! There are so many better ways to use my time!!
I went from sewing grocery bags to Todd Rundgren’s wardrobe!
If you placed an order with me last week, it likely was delayed as I took a little side junket and made the leap from my quiet little sewing studio to travelling with Todd Rundgren and sewing “rock star” pants, a fat suit and assorted other outfits for his just completed tour. Todd was re-creating his 1973 masterpiece A Wizard A True Star…complete with a dozen wild costume changes. I assisted his wife Michele, who was just whipping up costumes like you wouldn’t believe! It was an incredibly fun experience….so if you were waiting for your order last week….sorry, this was something I just couldn’t pass up! I’m still trying to catch up so please be patient! I also needed to come home and sleep – something I got very little of between working and hanging!
